Google+ was initially designed to replicate the way people interact offline. It became a power overnight, but mostly because an account has been automatically added to all Google users.
The platform started out by copying Facebook’s design and some of Twitter’s features. Shortly after, they implemented some of their tools, just to change it again when Pinterest started gaining popularity. The design and functionality have been modified recently, again.
However, the huge advantage of using this platform comes from its perfect integration with Google’s search feature, meaning that every post gets a good chance to be displayed on top of the search results list.
