Gonvarri Industries are a family owned, leading company in steel transformation in auto, road safety, material handling and solar energy sectors.
Back in January 2018, Gonvarri Industries acquired Constructor Group which consisted of Dexion, Kasten and Constructor to form a new parent group – Gonvarri Material Handling. It was the perfect opportunity to combine years of knowledge and expertise under one group, this new ownership strengthened the organisation as a leading provider of storage and material handling solutions.
The journey so far has seen the group grow and develop with the introduction of Gonvarri Stålteknik AB, Kredit and Complete Storage & Interiors Ltd (CSI) joining the family during the earlier years.
These additions have offered extra benefits to expanding and improving in different areas of the industry. As experts in designated products and solutions within material handling and mezzanine systems, Gonvarri Stålteknik AB's knowledge has been a huge gain.
Whilst Kredit are major players within the mobile racking segment. Though fully integrated within the family, they're still recognised as an independent company with the ambition to be number one in mobile racking.
The action of bringing CSI onboard supported Gonvarri's growth strategy and enabled the company to enter the B2B e-commerce marketplace. As a result, this increased digital capabilities and reach within the UK and EU territories.
Additionally, we were successful in developing a new business unit in Automation supported by Lampe and Kaufmann Systems, enhancing the group's involvement within the automation market.
Over the course of the last five years, the group has overcome some challenges in the face of the global pandemic which influenced the way we worked as a company, changing processes, and encouraging the need to change for the better.
With environmental issues on the rise, we've committed to fight against climate change by implementing initiatives that will improve the impact this industry has on the environment.
Being a member of the Gonvarri family has brought plenty of opportunities for the companies to expand their knowledge and bring together initiatives to enhance this strong partnership. With projects such as utilising electronic vehicles in factories and warehouses, semi-automation campaigns – improving efficiency in customers' businesses, and helping the local communities in and around Europe.
Sergio Rodriguez, CEO of Gonvarri Material Handling, commented. "We're proud to be a part of the Gonvarri family, over the last 5 years it has helped us strengthen our market position. We are investing in and looking to develop technologies that not only provide better storage solutions, but also protect the planet and make the world a safer, better place to live in."
We're looking forward to progressing with ongoing projects and providing customers with premium quality materials and solutions that make a difference to their day-to-day business.
